To fulfill our mission, Club KidFit Programs focus on different wellness
topic each week. Each topic includes an educational handout and a tracker
to help kids and families make healthy changes. Extra enrichment
opportunities are also listed to allow families to make simple changes that
have a big health impact over the course of a lifetime.
For example, one topic is about the importance of eating a healthy and
nutritious breakfast every morning. During all of our programs the
instructor will lead an informative discussion about why breakfast is
important. The kids will be challenged to eat a healthy breakfast every day
and will track their progress on their wellness tracker. As an extra
enrichment activity, kids ask to grocery shop with parents to select low
sugar and high fiber cereals.
